Our Twilly Scarves
Each silk twill scarf is handcrafted at one of the last surviving silk screen printing mills in Langley, located in the North West of England. Adamley Textiles, a renowned British silk mill, has specialized in silk printing for over 300 years, ensuring its fabrics are produced ethically and under fair working conditions. The intricate, hand-drawn String Ting Bead Parade pattern, derived from String Ting’s signature beads and Kawaii shapes, comes to life with the aid of skilled artisans who have woven together history and culture with String Ting’s modern, playful designs. Using a dye and discharge technique, each color is washed, dried, quality checked, and finally cut and sewn, bringing to life String Ting’s first textile.

Your String Ting is made by hand, she is tough, but please handle her with care. The bottom of your bag or in your dusty pocket ain’t no place for your Ting to be. She was born to shine, so wear her on your arm with pride. And, if she gets a little something-something on her, gently clean her with a small dab of washing up liquid on a toothbrush.

CRAFTED BY HAND
Every Ting is strung by hand in our London studio using the finest materials — each one carrying the joy of beading that founder Rachel Steed-Middleton has turned into a practice of sisterhood and self-expression. Less accessory, more alter ego — clip it to your phone, bag, or keys and swap as often as your mood demands.
Re-String Your Ting
